Critical Editions of Music with the aid of Digital Media?
The "Edirom"-Project is a project sponsored by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Emerged from the idea to visualize the critical report of musicological editions with the aid of the computer, the development of electronic tools for scholarly musical editions is now the main target of the project. Besides, the project endeavours to improve the interchange between various projects which often work in a sort of "splendid isolation".
On our website you will find fundamental information concerning digital scholarly musical editions, a closer look at our project and the software "Edirom" as well as examples of its use.
Please note that at the moment not the entire site is available in English.
